Ki Dev Studio ("we", "our", or "us") provides KIFOLIO, a manual portfolio tracking application designed to help users organize, track, and review portfolio-related information.
KIFOLIO is a manual portfolio tracking application. You may enter portfolio-related information such as ticker symbols, share quantities, average costs, target allocations, cash amounts, dividend goals, Market Drop levels, watchlist symbols, options-related details, cryptocurrency holdings and settings, and Investment Notes.
KIFOLIO does not require user accounts and does not store users' portfolio holdings on Ki Dev Studio servers. User-entered portfolio information and app preferences are stored locally on the user's device. Ki Dev Studio servers may provide market data such as stock prices, dividend information, and related financial data used by the application.
Users are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of information they manually enter into KIFOLIO.
KIFOLIO does not currently require user account registration and does not intentionally collect names, mailing addresses, Social Security numbers, brokerage credentials, bank credentials, or complete payment card information through the application.
Users should not enter passwords, Social Security numbers, bank credentials, brokerage credentials, payment card numbers, or other highly sensitive personal information into notes or other free-text fields within KIFOLIO.
KIFOLIO may connect to Ki Dev Studio servers and third-party market data providers to retrieve market information such as stock and ETF prices, dividend information, company or ETF details, 52-week highs, and related financial data.
Ki Dev Studio servers may process, format, and cache third-party market data before it is displayed or used in KIFOLIO.
KIFOLIO does not require users to connect a brokerage account or financial institution account in order to track a portfolio.
KIFOLIO may allow users to select and import supported brokerage CSV files. These files are processed locally on the user's device for portfolio import purposes and are not uploaded to the Ki Dev Studio server.
When KIFOLIO communicates with Ki Dev Studio servers, standard server logs may record technical information such as IP address, request date and time, requested API endpoint or market-data symbol, HTTP status, and device or browser information. This information may be used for service operation, security, troubleshooting, and abuse prevention. KIFOLIO does not intentionally include portfolio share quantities, purchase prices, or brokerage account credentials in standard market-data request logs.
Standard server and security logs are retained only as reasonably necessary for service operation, security, troubleshooting, abuse prevention, and compliance with applicable legal obligations. Ki Dev Studio does not use standard server logs to create personalized investment profiles or provide personalized investment recommendations.
KIFOLIO may rely on third-party service providers for market data, hosting, infrastructure, Google Play distribution, and payment processing.
These providers may process limited technical, market-data-related, or transaction-related information according to their own privacy policies and terms.
Ki Dev Studio does not sell personal information.
Information may be disclosed when required by law, when reasonably necessary to protect the security or integrity of the service, or when necessary to operate supporting infrastructure and services.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect our services and supporting systems.
However, no internet transmission, device storage system, or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
KIFOLIO is not specifically directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
KIFOLIO subscriptions may be purchased through Google Play. Payment processing is handled by Google Play.
Ki Dev Studio does not directly receive or store your complete payment card number or banking credentials for purchases processed through Google Play.
KIFOLIO may receive and process limited purchase and subscription information from Google Play, such as purchase tokens, product identifiers, and subscription status, as necessary to verify purchases and provide access to subscription features.
This information is used only as necessary to verify purchases, determine subscription status, and provide access to applicable KIFOLIO subscription features.
Portfolio information, watchlists, options records, Market Drop settings, dividend settings, cash information, cryptocurrency data, Investment Notes, app settings, and other locally stored KIFOLIO data remain on your device until you delete them.
KIFOLIO provides data-management controls that allow users to delete data for the current portfolio account, investment data across all portfolio accounts, Crypto data, or all locally stored KIFOLIO app data.
KIFOLIO may allow users to create backup files containing portfolio, dividend, options, Investment Notes, Crypto, Watchlist, Market Drop, and app-setting information. Backup files may contain personal portfolio information. KIFOLIO does not automatically upload user-created backup files to the Ki Dev Studio server. Users are responsible for safeguarding backup files they create, store, copy, or share.
You may also remove locally stored application data by clearing the application's data through your device settings or uninstalling the application.
KIFOLIO calculations and displays may depend on information manually entered by the user, information imported from supported brokerage CSV files, and third-party market data.
Incorrect, incomplete, outdated, duplicated, omitted, or incorrectly classified user-entered or imported information may result in inaccurate portfolio values, estimates, calculations, alerts, or other displays.
Users are responsible for reviewing and maintaining the accuracy of information they enter or import into KIFOLIO.
KIFOLIO does not currently use advertising services or third-party analytics services for behavioral advertising or advertising tracking.
If analytics, crash-reporting, advertising, or similar services are added in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated to describe the applicable data practices.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
